International Wedding in Poland

One of the main fears of the future Bride and Groom when they plan their wedding day  is whether it will be sunny. The fear whether the day will be rainless is even greater if the newlyweds want to organize their party in the garden. No exception this time. Lizzie and Benjamin decided to host their relatives in a historic manor house and the reception was planned in the open air. Fortunately for Lizzie and Benjamin it turned out to be good right from the beginning of their marriage, becaseuse despite the terrible forecasts, the weather did not disturb neither the celebration nor the swinging fun in the garden next the manor house. The humanistic wedding, which our couple decided on, added  authenticity and slack to the whole story. It was homely and without constraint. Spontaneity can not be planned – we have foud out yet again.

Wedding in the garden

The wedding place is decorated in a vintage style which fitted perfectly to  Lizzie and Benjamin’s wedding. Bride and Groom’s closest guests, together with a group of bridesmaids and groomsmen took part in the intimate celebration. From the first moments of the party, everyone felt very comfortable and welcome. According to the place chosen by the couple, their styling referred to a somewhat rustic and romantic vision of their wedding. The wedding tent looked beautifully decorated with floral garlands and fitted easily  all invited guests, who were delighted with tables and original gifts tied with jute string. We also love your creative ideas!

The event in the spacious garden definitely added the whole celebration slack and unpretentiousness. When the wedding reception or more accurate to say the garden party in this case  takes place mostly in the bosom of nature you can see and feel this freedom also in the pictures. A perfect combination for us – a humanistic wedding and an outdoor event. Definitely such  combination allows you to slow down and feel the atmosphere of a real “slow wedding”.

How to organize a wedding outdoors

Fantastic fun and wishes of prosperity for Newlyweds placed under the open sky, romantic music, moving toasts and all in a wonderful environment among loads of greenery and flowers – this is the recipe for a dream wedding. Sometimes less is more as an outdoor celebrations have their  own rules than those organized in a restaurant or hotel. When the fun started for good, all the revelers moved inside the manor for a party all night long. Dancing was only put on hold to take part in yet another unexpected and non-stereotypical surprise, which was a bonfire.

This is not the first wedding in the garden that we had the opportunity to shoot. Once again, we learned that a well-planned event in the open air can be a fairy-tale celebration and probably Lizzie and Benjamin will remember it just that, so will their guests.

For those interested in the technical side of the reportage: 95% of the wedding was shot by 35 and 50mm lenses. We counted the entire 18 photos from 85mm. Which only proves that the pursuit of newer and better equipment is and will be for us something that plays a secondary role at least. The minimum amount of resources taken from work allows you to focus on what is most important. This is  such a circle that we go round in the pursuit of technical innovations and the fight against the G.A.S. syndrome(Gear Acquisition Syndrome) still getting to the starting point which is good composition, creativity and experience.

For every photographer, such a humanistic wedding and reception in the outdoors are definitely a dream to come true. And the reason is, by no means beautiful wedding decorations or the richness of a wedding setting. None of these. What impresses in such weddings is the authenticity of the events we witness. It is an unhampered freedom to show each other love. These are spontaneous cries of joy, real tears of emotion and all these feelings that should accompany us on such days as this. I think that Lizzie and Benjamin’s wedding is a perfect example of how love should be celebrated. This is definitely a reportage that will stay in our memories for a long time. Thank you!
